ein kurzer Artikel von Shara Gardner from The Spirit of Water
Peace is a concept that must originate in our own hearts and minds before it can become evident in the world. We cannot force peace to happen by fighting for it. We also cannot expect others to be peaceful. All must find their own way, and this includes individuals, couples, communities, and countries. We can bless others with the ability to find their own piece of peace; and we can hope it will help move us all together toward universal peace; but at the lowest level of the Peace Pyramid, we cannot expect peace in our world if our foundations are chaotic, our relationships burdened with fear, anger, or resentment, or our perceptions of Love are diminished by violence.
Ah… but peace can be achieved through simplified processes. Find evidence of peace in the natural world. See evidence of peace in humanity. Fill your eyes with the peace of gentle flowing water, or the sounds of beautiful music. We find peace within ourselves in these small ways, and soon we begin to remember what peace means to us, and we begin to live according to those findings… and we help others do the same. It takes courage to behave in a new way, but peace will find us more than we will find it. Soon we learn that inner peace is the ultimate expression of Self-Love and it comes without effort or sacrifice. The Buddha says there is no way toward Peace. Peace is the way. We agree and we support your inward journey this year as we begin from a new perspective. Make this year the end of things that no longer work in your life, and the beginning of simple ideals that do work for you. We encourage you to use whatever spiritual tools you need to assist in your personal transformation.
